Last week I had a pleasure to attend an international conference ‘Formative Assessment in Foreign Language Teaching’ held at the University of Warsaw. The whole conference was packed with thought-provoking lectures and intensive workshops. We discussed the benefits of formative assessment and the ways in which it can be implemented in a language classroom.

I left the conference venue feeling totally and utterly inspired to share the idea of formative assessment and  the possibilities to use it in a language classroom with fellow teachers. I would like to ecourage you to read a guidebook prepared as an outcome of  FAB project – it consist of 62 ideas/activities which are of immense value for teachers committed to formative assessment.

If by any chance you are not into formative assessment then this guidebook is simply a must  62 examples of good practice will develop your teaching repertoire!
